Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated July 31, 2026
1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs your use of the Traumalis Service. It is part of, and incorporated by reference into, the Traumalis Individual Terms of Use. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Use. By purchasing or using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. WHO MAY USE THE SERVICE
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You may use the Service only for yourself and for your own single-incident traumatic memory, consistent with the eligibility criteria in the Terms.
- The Service is a self-guided general wellness tool. It is not medical care, and using it does not create a clinical or therapeutic relationship.
3. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial wellness purposes, in accordance with the Terms, the screening and safety screens presented to you, and this Policy.
4. PROHIBITED USES
You may not:
- Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information in the Screening Tool or on any safety or Exclusion Screen, or attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent those screens.
- Use the Service on behalf of, or for the benefit of, any other person, or input information about another person rather than using the Service for your own self-guided use.
- Permit any person under 18 to use the Service, or use the Service on behalf of a minor.
- Share, sell, transfer, or give others access to your purchased Session(s).
- Use the Service as a substitute for emergency or crisis care, or while experiencing a mental health emergency (see the Emergency Disclaimer in the Terms).
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, threaten, or harm others.
- Upload or input content that is illegal, that infringes the rights of others, or that contains malware or malicious code.
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose, including resale, or to build, train, or benchmark a competing product or model.
5. AI GUIDE: RESPONSIBLE USE
The Service includes an artificial intelligence system (the “AI Guide”). You may not:
- Attempt to manipulate, “jailbreak,” or prompt the AI Guide to produce unsafe, harmful, or policy-violating content.
- Attempt to extract, reverse engineer, or expose the AI Guide’s underlying prompts, instructions, or models.
- Represent the AI Guide’s outputs as professional, medical, or clinical advice, or as the statements of a licensed professional.
- Rely on the AI Guide for medical, legal, or other professional decisions.
6. TECHNICAL RESTRICTIONS
- No reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to access source code, except to the extent permitted by law.
- No automated access, scraping, or excessive requests that burden or disrupt the Service.
- No attempts to bypass usage limits, authentication, or security measures, or to probe or test the vulnerability of the Service.
7. MONITORING AND ENFORCEMENT
We may, but are not obligated to, monitor use of the Service to protect the Service and its users and to enforce this Policy. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any violation of this Policy, as described in the Termination and Suspension provisions of the Terms, and may take any other action available to us under applicable law.
8. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
Report suspected violations or misuse to support@traumalis.com.
9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy from time to time by posting the revised Policy with a new “Last Updated” date. The version of this Policy in effect when you purchase a Session governs that Session. Because the Service does not require an account, you are responsible for reviewing the current Policy each time you purchase, and your purchase constitutes acceptance of the version then in effect.
